The day's format will include individual talks by each of the invited speakers, followed by a round-table discussion moderated by Steve Whisenant. The symposium is a one day event and is the result of a cooperative effort of graduate students from a number of ecology-related departments across the university. In conjunction with the EIS, the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences will host its annual Student Research Symposium in Conservation, Ecology, and Evolutionary Biology the following day (Saturday, April 23). Registration for the EIS is free for all participants, and registration for the Student Symposium is $5.
