7th International Convention on Environment and Development The Convention is the most important international meeting on environment held in Cuba. Its 8th edition includes 5 congresses and 3 colloquia, which are related to various topical environmental subjects: climatic change, environmental education, protected areas, ecosystem management and biodiversity, environmental right, environmental land planning, as well as hazard, vulnerability and risk assessment. Several master conferences will be imparted by renowned experts of great prestige in the international arena. There will also be round table discussions on prime topics of the environmental agenda. Moreover, a fair-related exhibition on environmental experiences, technologies and projects will be carried out, as it has become customary in previous years.
