The 45th Annual Meeting of the Aquatic Plant Management Society will be held in San Antonio, TX, at the Hyatt Regency San Antonio, on the Riverwalk at Paseo del Alamo, July 10-13, 2005. The Program Committee promises a very interesting and diverse program with excellent presentations on research, management, and much more, including a session on harmful algae. The Meeting Planning Committee is hard at work arranging entertaining events for relaxing and visiting with colleagues. Some of the exciting social activities being planned include the President’s Reception, Spouse Tour, Poster Reception, and Banquet. This will be an extraordinary meeting, so plan to attend and bring your family. San Antonio offers many things to see and do including historic sites, family fun, sporting events, outdoor activities, culture, plenty of shopping spots, great restaurants, and exciting nightlife. So mark your calendar and join all your APMS friends for a good time, Texas style.
