The presentations will summarize results obtained over a 5-year period, and relate to susceptible populations, drug discovery and therapies, animal and human toxicology, and ecosystem-based environmental testing. This highly integrated team supports the activities of four research projects and two facility cores. Each area will present a 30-40 minute talk. Subjects will include aerosols, animal models, respiratory mechanisms, studies on human subjects, toxins and field studies. All interested researchers in Texas are invited to attend to develop collaborations and hear about the state-of-the-art in this rapidly developing field.
