Southeastern Ecology and Evolution Conference
The Southeastern Ecology and Evolution Conference (SEEC) was started at Georgia Tech in 2004 and was modeled after similar regional conferences (MEEC, the Midwestern Ecology and Evolution Conference, and NEEC, the Northeast Ecology and Evolution Conference). SEEC is hosted by a different southeastern university each year.
The purpose of SEEC is to provide a fun, relaxed atmosphere for students in the fields of ecology and evolution to network and to share research with their peers. Presenters are graduate students, undergraduate students, and post-docs from southeastern schools (or from outside the region but doing research in the southeast).
