RESEARCH THEMES: In order to include the different fields of research on coastal ecosystems, those used by CONACyT Mexico (Spanish acronym for National Council of Science and Technology) have been chosen. Authors may choose the field in which they desire to participate, for example Biology (Ecology, Biological Oceanography, Chemical Oceanography, Fisheries, Aquaculture), Social Sciences (Economy, Sociology, Anthropology, Environmental Law), Mathematics and Physics (Physical Oceanography, Climate, Geology), Biotechnology and Agricultural Sciences (Veterinary, Agronomy, Horticulture), and Engineering (Architecture Civil engineering, Naval engineering).
