VI International Conference on the Environment and Development
The convention is organized in general scientific activities; key note speakers, round tables, and an exposition fair of technological projects and environmental experiences, as well as five congresses on fundamental themes on environment, made up of symposia, round tables, conferences and oral and poster working sessions. MAIN EVENTS AND THEMES VI Congress on Environmental Education for Sustainable Development: Environmental education in elementary school; environmental formation of professionals, citizens, community and intersectoriality; communication; energy; education. V Congress on Protected Areas: Protection in protected areas; public use; tourism and protected areas; planning of the biota, ecosystems and landscape; management of species and ecosystems; roll of communities in protected areas; marine protected areas. III Congress on Environmental Management: Entrepreneur environmental management; economic instruments of environmental management; energy and the environment; environmental legislation; environmental ordinance; environmental regulations; cleaner production and sustainable consumption. I Congress on Integrated Management and Hydro Resources: Surface and underground hydrology; environmental hydrology; use and management of water; use and reuse of liquid residuals; draught and access to water; watershed management; hydro energetic. I Congress on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Management: Management of biological biodiversity; management of marine, coastal and terrestrial ecosystems; use and conservation of biodiversity; threats to biodiversity; landscape ecology; biology of conservation; environmental services from biological diversity. VIII Symposium on Botany: Taxonomy; ecology; biotechnology; genetics; conservation and management of flora.
